Nicknames of Note-Leprechaun Edition - Leftcoast - 10-16-2024

Here's the best of batch nicknames from the Notre Dame predictions.  All choices are based on my offbeat and quite subjective sense of humor so feel free to nominate your own.

SkiBum80:     Thanks a Latte vs Irish Coffee
Skip75:          Gates of Hell vs Touchdown Jesus (also winner of this week's campus sculpture cultural award)
MV72018:      Atheists vs Theists

I would have loved to give a podium finish to fullmetal with his hopeful Second Greatest Upset Ever nickname but .... well ..... you know.

My inspiration was my wife's reunion party several years ago held at the Cantor Arts Center. They had a bar set up at the Gates of Hell sculpture.
A very memorable evening.
And in 2010 we made our only visit to Notre Dame.  We had seats in the end zone - looking toward Touchdown Jesus.  More importantly, great seats to see Owen Marecic's 2 touchdowns in 13 seconds.  A very memorable day.
