That's great!
MODERATORS: I suggest locating the fundraising post on the standard board (perhaps with occasional "bumps" to keep it on the front page). I'm guessing that most users (like me) never look at the pinned posts section; I only look at the main CardBoard section to see what's been updated.

I love that I can tangibly support this unique, Stanford athletics community that has nurtured my Stanford fandom over the years.  I usually give some multiple of my posts or comments total, because hey, this is how much I use the Board :)

Done.  I appreciate the exchange of information and opinions here - and I've learned quite a bit about basketball from my fellow alum. The CardBoard was also invaluable to me during COVID (although off-topic) - it alerted me early to certain risks and the input from the Stanford medical and scientific community was outstanding.

The CardBoard fundraiser has raised $3,605 so far, which is within $400 of the revised goal of $4,000.

We have more than reached the goal I set when I set up the fundraises. GoFundMe does this weird thing where it increases the goal whenever a 0 milestone is hit. If you want to give more, go ahead, but we DO NOT need it. We currently have enough to fund the board for several years, deal with unexpected overage charges from our current host, and to purchase enterprise grade forum software (That part's not coming until the summer.)
