we're #93...... - 82lsju - 08-18-2025

Quote:93. Stanford: An interim head coach in Frank Reich and a roster that lost top pieces after the season and spring coaching change will make for a long year. This is the lowest-ranked Power 4 team.

So a possible cheer:  We're Ninety-three! You fear the Tree!

Hawaii checks in at #109 - the only opponent with a lower ranking.
The comment about the Rainbow Warriors is: "Quarterback Micah Alejado brings some excitement and will need to carry the offense if a bowl game is the goal."
Stanford needs a solid performance (and a win) on Saturday to build on the feel-good vibes of bringing in Andrew Luck & Frank Reich and having, according to coaches and players, a successful training camp.

But they're favored by 2.5...

I still think we win six games.

Does anyone know the broadcasting situation for the Hawaii game?  ESPN shows that it is on CBS, but I don't see it on the CBS channel guide on Fubo.

Do a keyword search on Stanford and on Fubo I get the game on "KPIX+" -- I guess that's a streaming version of KPIX

Home field advantage plus a long road trip for our guys.

well the flight time is about the same as non-stops to our ACC road games (except for Cal and SMU), at least the kick-off is not 7pm Hawaii Time...

It is on the CBS broadcast network - KPIX channel 5 in the Bay Area. For streamers it is on Paramount+.

Thanks.  On Fubo I get the CBS Spokane affiliate KREM2.  However, the FUBO guide doesn't show our game being aired on that channel.  When I pulled up the KREM2 listings on ontvtonight.com I see the game listed at 4:30 pm on Saturday.  So, it might just be a glitch in the listings feed from KREM2 to FUBO.  Also, I do have Paramount+, so that's a fallback option.
