Stanford has the 7th toughest strength of schedule - Mick - 08-19-2025
At least, according to USA Today. Wisconsin, Florida, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Syracuse, LSU, and then the Good Guys at #7. Last three are UCLA, the Ohio State U and South Carolina.

Seems extremely dubious to me. Last year we were #37. The ACC is not good. This strikes me as a list that generically gives us credit for being in a “power” conference and then sees Notre Dame, BYU, and no FCS opponents and assumes that’s a really tough schedule. No. The ACC is not good. And we don’t even play Clemson, Louisville, or Georgia Tech. Our schedule may end up being not tough at all (winning games is a different question) and may even be easy by our historical standards.

the 85th from Teamranking looks like a team ranking not a SOS ranking. Otherwise it makes no sense.
