Beat Kal!
Offense looked pretty inept, but defense has at least made some plays though Kal kicks a field goal to take an early lead.
We've seen Kal pull off a couple of tricky-ish plays. Will Stanford attempt to do the same?

“Pretty inept” is a bit of an understatement. With 5 min to go in the first quarter we had two three-and-outs for negative yardage.

... or drinking?
But the key question: Does our team drive one to drink?
If so, then can you drink enough to watch?
Big review call here whether Cal receiver was out or not.
Goes our way!

In many cases, yes. Some can resist for a long time, but most give in.

Previous research indicates most people pass out before reaching the point they will watch. This season, we may have a big enough "N" to determine a statistically significant result.

Announcers say our 1st seven plays got a net yards of 1.
On the bright side, it is going forward not backward.

And there may be some quite dramatic outliers.... not in a good way... and I deny knowing anything experiential about that.

Wow, on that trickery, to be fair to Brown he put it right on Roush's hands.
Who wasn't fully turned around for the pass.

I just want to thank everyone for lightening up the mood. I need that.

I've discovered our secret weapon to win this game!
Get the announcers/reporters to interview A.Luck on the sideline, so he can't watch the play.
Then we will get touchdowns all night.

Did Staples kick the ball free? Don't think I've ever seen that...

Defense need to win this game. Our offense is totally inept.

Rhetorical question: Is Matt Rose the most studly stud-beast on our Defense?

I LOVE that Andrew is completely fired up. Hopefully the crowd gets into it.

What the hell just happened? What equipment penalty?
RE: Big Game Thread 2025 -
SkiBum80 - 11-22-2025
Say what?! "equipment penalty" gives Cal a first down instead of punting.
Is due to two Stanford players wearing same jersey number.
So does that mean someone(s) on the coaching staff have to run wind sprints the next practice?
Aiming for some understated commentary to keep down the blood pressure:
a 4th down play coming up that may be of some import

One and a half quarters of play and we have 16 yards of total offense. THAT is offensive.

Tough call on Leigber.
I honestly don't know if that is targeting or not.
I'd guess not, but my opinion doesn't count.
