Slow start. Down 13-14 with 3:19 to play in the first Q.
End if first Q. We trail 15-16. Not much to say. Not playing with visible enthusiasm.

Tight game, but one positive is Eschmeyer is our leading scorer with 11 points.

Great second Q! We outscored them 27-17 in the 2nd. At the half we lead 42-33. Alex with perfect shooting 4-4, 1-1, 2-2.
Swain with 0 points, 3 TOs, and 2 fouls.

Nice to see that we didn't collapse in another 3rd Q. We extend the lead by 1. Now 59-49 with 10 minutes to play.

I will say, our posts have been playing great this game - Nunu, Alex, and MA. MA is looking much more like the Big Ten Freshman of the Year she was two seasons ago. I hope we bring the press back when they start to tire in the Fourth - it was great to see us (FOR ONCE!) being the more physical, assertive team. And as much as it helped our defense, it primarily benefited our offense, because we are so much better in transition than the half court.

Agreed - much better use of the post in this game. MA is in line for a double double, which was not in my crystal ball for today.

That’s a wrap. 80-69 final. As others have noted, our posts played well; Eschmeyer was the leading scorer, MAS was a rebound away from a double double and Agara led us in assists. Six players were in double digits.
