who's going to the UH game on Saturday - 82lsju - 08-28-2026
I'll be there, our tailgate group in lot 2 is diminished from last year as we've lost three more ticket holders. We plan to casually tailgate (snacks and drinks as the 4pm kick-off is sub-optimal for a pre-game meal) there before the game, at halftime, and maybe after the game. We'll likely arrive ~2pm.
Anyone else going to the game (or tailgating)?

Eric, are you planning to leave the stadium at halftime? I believe I read somewhere that they won’t let you re-enter this year.

well that would be disappointing, ever year I expect them to end in and out privileges (why lose possible concessions money) so this may be the year.....

Our tailgate will be going in Chuck Taylor, as usual. I saw the note regarding potentially shutting down stadium re-entry. I think there was sufficient backlash from the Grove and beyond to shut that idea down - for now. I fear if they do that, many of our tailgate attendees won't go into the game at all! That would be sad.
I'm hoping the product on the field is much improved. That will help get some butts in seats again. As John Madden used to say: "Winning is the best deodorant."

same for ours, some would go in for the first half then finish the game at the tailgater.....

Eric, based on the above, I would suggest asking a ticket scanner “supervisor” the re-entry rules for this year at the start of your pregame tailgate.
