Congratulations Nneka! - Viking_Guy - 03-05-2012

In the vote by the media, named the first Pac-12 Player of the Year!  As well as co-defensive player of the year with Brianna Gilbreath.

Coach of the year (and I think deservedly) to Scott Rueck for rescuing the mess that was Oregon State.  Freshman of the year to Jazmine Davis of UW.

This is a media vote. Coaches votes will be announced tomorrow.

I nominate her for first-team Pac-12 ballet, for her leaps, pirouettes, spins and lighter-than-air performances.

I think the coaches got it right on this one.
