Several services in their way-too-early bowl projections pick us to go to the Alamo Bowl. That's not news. What's new is who Athlon picks as our projected opponent:

From the Stanford side, I can't imagine playing them will have any added drama due to last year's game. But you can bet that select Okie fans will be ready punch any LSJUMB member in the face that they come across wandering the town. I wouldn't advise a lot of public shows leading up to the game, if this match up ends up playing out.

The Alamo Bowl would get to pick its teams and may opt for another Pac-12 team...Ok St. travels well and is close enough to fill seats.
