Kyle Bonagura's latest tweet indicates that
he projects that (just his opinion) no Stanford player will survive the 53-man roster cuts except Konrad Reuland, who benefits from an injured DL/TE and the 49ers propensity for three TE sets. Beeler's already been cut; Michael Thomas, Derek Hall, Chris Owusu, and Matt Masifilo (cut, then re-signed a couple of days later, and now this?) are projected to not make it.
David Lombardi reports that CB Wayne Lyons is doubtful as per injury report--same foot injury area as last year. Stanford OL coach Mike Bloomgren, by way of Todd Husak, says no frosh will start at OL, but they will play early and often. Yankey will start at LT and Wilkes at LG.

To me the most disturbing part of your post is the news about Wayne Lyons. I hope that foot injury does not become a chronic problem.Â

Agreed, but I'm glad he's not being rushed back too early. OTOH, some SJSU loudmouth is claiming that SJSU will test Stanford's secondary. I don't think SJSU is going to have time to pass the ball after the Stanford defensive front seven get done mashing that OL.Â

He said test. He never said what grade they'd get. (Anything other than A or A- is not something I'll be happy about)
