Good article WIM.. the field position was
enormous last year, and really kept SC in the game. Losing Ertz was also very deflating for our team.Â
We have a number of edges:Â home field advantage, being the underdog, their problems at center and kicker, lack of pressure, etc.
It seems to be consensus that we need to get the ground game going tomorrow. It certainly wouldn't hurt to run it well, but I tend to think that our best chance of winning is to take risks. I'd like to see 2 scoring plays of 50+, and some kind of onside kick/fake attempt. If we turn the ball over, so be it, I think our defense can hold them to field goals. I just don't think we can count on Nunes threading TD passes in the red zone, and I don't see our OL dominating to the extent needed to run it in the red zone. I kind of hope Shaw goes for broke tomorrow.. not his nature, but I think it's what we need to win..

Going for broke will put this team in the best position to win.Â
