current ND weather report - Extra Point - 10-10-2012

Cloudy with showers (60% chance) and thunderstorms. Potential for severe thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low 60s. Winds of 12 mph.

Not sure how this will affect Stanford's chances? You would have to think that slogfest will reduce the number of first downs for both teams. This may become a very low scoring field position battle. The game could hinge upon special teams. Does anyone know about ND's kick off, punting, and field goal kickers? How good is the drainage on ND's field? Will this be ND's first game in inclement weather?

...most ND fans would consider it a kind of payback for the game on the slip-n-slide Stanford field last season.  The predominant opinion on their boards at the time was that on a "decent" field,  they win that one.  But then, they always think they merit a win just for being,  well, you know.
