Here's to a safe and fun game... -

I won't be there; however, I wish all who attend a safe and fun time. This will be the first time in ages that all the Stanford fans can walk away from the Memorial without a splinter in their posterior....

True, but also the first time in ages they can't drive home over the San Mateo Bridge... >:(

I, on the other hand will, for the first time since 1999, when our offense consisted of the defense forcing a punt and hoping Deltha O'Neal would take it all the way back. (I think we're moderately, though not significantly, better than that this year.) My wife and I have moved back to northern California, to Sebastopol. I got a tour of the new athletic center last spring, but this will be my first time in the rebuilt stadium. Looking forward to it.
Western Sonoma County is wonderful. Glad to be back!Â
:P

-- I'm glad the players won't be getting splinters from the locker room benches either
-- deeply jealous of anyone that lives up in Sonoma
-- congrats on the new stadium, I hope you have wonderful celebrations there, some other day.

Lurck42...
I have not attended a Big Game since 2009. In fact, I have not purchased any tix to a game featuring my Alma Mater since that game.
It is my small way of protesting the commercialization of the experience. The University sold its soul and ruined a terrific experience for those of us who enjoy college football for all the reasons that separate it from the pro's.
I'll watch it on TV unless my wife asks me to clean the rain gutters (an old Ray Ratto joke for you newcomers to the website).Â
Anyway, have a good time...........
