That's awesome, but it would've been even cooler if he were doing this three years from today. He could've walked with his son. How cool would that be?

Congrats to Bob. Earlier this year, I read an article about Maurice Jones-Drew and his return to UCLA to obtain his degree. This is the kind of stuff that deserves more publicity.
Instead, we are subjected to reams of material about Chad (one semester; no classes) Johnson........

Kodi is probably the most thrilled about this development, I would guess.

Really assume turn out for this by his former friends and teammates: Vaughn Bryant, Tyrone Parker and Keith Sparks to name a few.

Grad rate - yes; APR - no, because I'm sure he left school in "good standing". APR does not penalize schools for guys who leave early as long as they are in good standing at the time they leave. That is why (IMO) it is the fairest measurement of academic metrics. Guys who leave early to go to the NFL don't count against a school as long as they are tracking towards graduation.

Doesn't affect either. They are based on a set time period of around 6 years.

I attended Stanford's graduation yesterday because my son was graduating. At the Human Biology graduation ceremony, Alex Debniak and Chris Owusu both were listed in the program as graduates. Neither one attended; I assume they both walked with their class in last year's ceremony. But it was nice to see both of them on the list. Other athletes graduating in Human Biology included Teagan Gerhart (softball), Courtney Verloo (soccer), and Ryan Mango (wrestling).

Congrats to you and your son, Terry. What's up with the Hum Bio? Is your son trying to make the lawyers in the family look bad?! ;)
Cheers,
Pete F.Â

No one has to expend any effort making lawyers look bad.
