Bye Week Pick the Winner - Pastor - 10-11-2010
Since we are not playing, let\'s see who can pick a tough game....
I pick USC by 9

USC by 10-20. I\'m banking on the offensive stars retaining their mojo and the choke-worthy kal offense making the $C defense look good.
Also, Kevin Riley can\'t tackle nearly as well as Andrew Luck.

The Bears are almost as unpredictable as UCLA. Can they play at a high level two weeks in a row? They seem to play MUCH better at home than on the road. I am picking the Trojans because the game is in LA.
I will add this comment as well - if Cal wins this game, they have a real chance to make some noise in the conference. Â Only two more road trips and one is to Pullman. Â Stanford or Oregon is going to have to beat the Bears in Berkeley which could be a tall order.

Good point, darn it! Â And of course BG is at Cal this year. Â We\'ve got 6 tix to the rock pile at Strawberry Canyon so we\'ll get to see this play out first hand. Â We debated watching at home but we really want to see the hoped for axe handover in person.

This one is easy. Â USC wins 10-20.
My only concern is USC\'s motivation. Â Those that follow SC have told me they have not played well at home this year. Â That "this is our bowl game" mentality does not work when they are playing at home.
So bad road team playing at bad home team. Â I think raw talent wins out, and that means SC.

SC by 10-20. They\'re the better team. But what do I know? Â I haven\'t been right on the polls yet.
