Pictures of Stanford/USC Game Day from VandyFan - Ron - 10-14-2010

Thanks to everyone who posted valuable information and suggestions for this first time visitor to the Stanford Campus and Palo Alto. I must say you have one of the most beautiful College Campus\' I\'ve ever visited.  I decided to drive down on Friday to figure out my game plan for parking on Saturday and where to hang before the game.  I hit most of the spots you all suggested which helped getting some wonderful pictures of my 2 days visiting Stanford and Palo Alto.  Congrats to beating Kiffin\'s USC Trojans by driving the field with a minute left.  You have one great QB in Andrew Luck!

Some of you asked if I could share my pictures.  So here they are.  I have many of the band so I hope someone from the Band will see them so they can enjoy them as well.  I released them for download if some of the students like any for their own use.  I also loved the stadium.  I hope someday Vandy will invest in a similar stadium that has no bad seating.  

Again, thanks for all the tips that made my visit one of my best ever to an out of conference rival game.   :)

You seem to have an unhealthy fascination with Hoover Tower. Other than that, glad you had a good time. Go \'dores!

A special thank you for the pix.  The son of a friend of mine is in the Stanford band.  I sent her the link and she found her sax-playing son in one of the photos.

SpinyNorman, Happy to hear that.  I hope she can get the link to her son who can then share the pictures with the band.  As much time as some of the band members put into their creative "Look" for the game I\'m guessing they will enjoy some of the pictures.

Yes, I had a fascination with the Hoover Tower.  I had no idea it was the Presidential Library for Herbert Hoover.  I\'m sort of a History Buff and really enjoyed the museum.  It\'s also a very unique structure that you can see from most vantage points on campus.
