What about a race between paper boats owned by Pastor, Lefty and dabigv? Â I think that could be cool, too.

Back in the day (the 70\'s) anybody here ever participate in the Linnie Canal Downwind Regatta....in Venice, CA? You brought your materials and tools with you and had an hour to build a boat that could: 1) stay in one piece and 2) sail downwind the length of the Linnie Canal with a crew of two. I\'m amazed I never got typhoid....among other things.

At least I would have the biggest rudder.

Paper boat races .... hmmmmhhhh. Â I could get into that.
If the 59ers show up in their U-Boats I\'m suggesting we form a convoy outside of New York harbor and load up with depth charges! Â Of course if we plan this in December they\'ll have one less weapon and we\'ll have a brand new red boarding axe.

a recent happening from some friends who are living the life on Venice beach. The degree of difficulty would increase immeasurably if blowup dolls were replaced with paper based constructions.

Dang....the canals and contiguous homes have gone upscale over the last 30 years. Participants look similar.
