Is there more to the story? - Extra Point - 10-22-2010

The Washington and Oregon schools will play their semiannual games with the LA schools in LA. They will never play USC and UCLA at home under the current agreement. Assuming that every Pac 12 team will want a 9 game conference schedule where every other year you play 5 games at home, what does this mean for Stanford? Equalibrium has to come from somewhere? This could get ugly.

The NW schools will play the LA schools one at a time per year, alternating between home and away. A four year student at a NW school should play USC and UCLA once at home and once on the road.

What they are saying on the UW board is that the Northwest schools will play either USC or UCLA every year -- in LA! They will not have home games against the LA schools in the current plan.

Larry Scott made no mention of it here.
