Damon Dunn - TrumpCard - 04-09-2014

Another Stanford football alumnus making us proud.  Dunn will be in a June 3 runoff to become the next mayor of Long Beach.

I thought that Chris Lewis would be the football alum most likely to enter politics in Long Beach.  Maybe he is helping Dunn with his campaign.

His lawn sign is in my front yard. I've gotten to know him a bit over the past two years, and I think he'll do great things for our city if elected. His story is great -- faced with crippling disadvantages (born to a teen mother, raised in abject poverty, assigned to Branner), he overcame all of it, became a successful businessman, and seems ready to make a difference here in Long Beach. I really hope he gets the opportunity.

Today's nominee for Most Obscure Past NCAA Violation Reference...

I voted for Dunn for CA Secretary of State in 2010.  He lost.  Insufficient gun-running experience, I guess...

Surviving Branner and turning out better than half-normal is a SERIOUS accomplishment.

Oh yeah...BRANNER SUCKS
