Can we have Riley back? -

Mansion is playing an amazing game. Â C.a.l is on the verge of taking a late 3rd quarter lead against the Ducks.
This night is not exactly going to plan.

We\'re all right. Â That last TD drive was a nice gift, but ASU\'s current collapse is deserved on their part.

OK,
Now it is on to the Be.ar.s.
I wonder what kind of effort C.a.l has had to put in to get this close to Oregon. Â It seems as though every Pac-10 team has played very poorly the week after Oregon. Â A Stanford fan can only hope that C.a.l suffers a little let down.
As it stands, I am no longer care-free about next Saturday.

This will be forever remembered for what almost happened to Oregon, to Auburn, to TCU, to Ohio State and toStanford.

Mansion ended up 10 for 28 for 69 yards. I hope we see that Mansion next week with a couple of interceptions thrown in.

The kal offense did give the defense time to rest between drives though...

I didn\'t get to see any part of the Oregon-Cal game. Was the Oregon offense more conservative than usual to protect the QB or was the ursine defense really that good?

They were that good. Â The Ducks were very lucky to win

Well, the Ducks probably would have won. Â C.a.l could have had a 16-15 lead, but Oregon would have scored if they needed it.
In the late 4th quarter they got to where they would normally snap the ball and then they stood around for 20 seconds. Â The Ducks were definitely capable of scoring again, but it wasn\'t necessary. Â So they went slow and won by 2 points. Â In many ways the end was quite similar to the Stanford ASU game.
Either way, the C.a.l D was great. Â The C.al O did just enough to keep their D fresh. Â And Mansion was bad, but did not play poorly enough to let Oregon score on D. Â They play so poorly on the road and yet so great at home. Â It is really strange.
