Did not get passed by Wisconsin, which is good. Â Still need Auburn to lose and TCU or Boise St. to climb into #2 spot.

I\'m glad that all of the computer rankings, not just Sagarin, think the Big-10 teams are overrated. Â Based on that I\'m going to guess Wisconsin will have a hard time passing Stanford (since there isn\'t much room for them to go higher in the human polls). Â Of course, it\'d be a lot easier if everyone above us (save Oregon and TCU) would just lose some dang games.

For the most likely BCS bowl opportunity for Stanford (Rose), it doesn\'t really matter if Wisconsin et.al. pass us or not as long as Boise or TCU is #2. We should all be Alabama and and Arkansas fans now I guess...
Having said that, our game next week looks like a far bigger challenge than it seemed just a few days back.

It\'s definitely a challenge. They have a better defense than ASU, and came within a missed field goal of beating the No. 1 team in the country. Moreover, not only do they play much better at home than on the road, but the team is confident that they can beat Stanford.

Michigan over Ohio State and Wisconsin
Arkansas over LSU
Nevada over Boise State
Arizona and Oregon State over Oregon
Bama over Auburn
....and that\'s how we play TCU for the National Championship!
