Some stuff to give away - WaldportCard - 11-14-2010

Going through my late father\'s things, I found some Stanford football momentos that may be of interest to some of you.  Dad hosted weekly Stanford football programs when he was at Hewlett-Packard many years ago.

Anyway: Press books 1967,1968, 1969 and 1955 (?).  Pristine program from the Army Game 10/4/1975.

I thought I\'d get an email alert for any private messages.  Guess not.  I wouldn\'t have checked otherwise.  

I\'ll try to take your suggestion and send the stuff to the LSJU AD archivist.  Unbelievable the AD doesn\'t have this stuff.

Mike Cordova was the qb in the win against Army.  We ran up the score by running the ball, because the coaches wanted to make our running stats look better, as we were primarily a finesse passing team.  James Lofton caught a 44 yard pass early in the game.  Lofton said after the game that we should have bombed them after we got ahead (to practice long passes).  A couple years later we managed to lose to Army, 21-20, which helped get Christensen fired with a 7-4 record.
