Even if the grid was created before the Shaw hi-jinks at University of Silly Clowns, it seems like the survey puts them faaaar too close to the horizontal axis. They seem to be a bit more toward the embarrassing end in my view.

Congrats to Cal for representing the conference in the bottom-left quadrant!

I'm a little surprised Air Force got stuck in the quadrant they did, especially when Army and Navy are near the top. AFA has had a couple of sexual assault accusations, but so have the other academies.

We dominate that grid, which is not surprising. What surprises me is that ND is right on the horizontal line. Man, they are teflon.

Before it came out that JShaw fabricated the story, one Trojan posted on /cfb that $C should get credit against Fulmer Cup points. To me this whole episode should be the Fulmer Cup equivalent of the Golden Snitch - automatic winner.

Other than maybe the creators of the grid went to Clemson and Wisconsin, how do they eclipse us (even if by only a little) on the admirable axis? I don't get it.

Attendance figures?

Wisconsin and Clemson have good APR/grad rates. Perhaps just slightly better than ours?

TreeWeird is on the right track. In theory, APR and GSR are highly correlated, but there are exceptions. For whatever reason, Clemson, Nebraska, and Wisconsin have APRs on par with Stanford, but graduation rates much lower than Stanford has. I'm not sure if Stanford has an unusually low APR considering its graduation rates or whether the other schools have unusually high APRs considering their graduation rates.Â
By the way, we're still not Nebraska.Â

FSU gets the Fulmer Cup as long as Winston is playing in the NCAA.
