More SC Attrition - washingtonismoney - 08-28-2014

RB Tre Madden could be out for a month: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/08/28/usc-could-be-without-tre-madden-for-a-month/

Madden had 700 yards at about five yards a pop last year.

By my count, the following notable U$( players are injured or ineligible:  DL Bigelow, LB Ruffin, LB Dawson, DB Shaw, OL Rodgers, OL Simmons, RB Madden, TE Fitzpatrick.  Any others?

By my count, the Cardinal have the following injuries: DL Shittu, DL, Nwafor, OL Fanaika, OL Oser, LB Veach, plus a few minor dings that we expect to heal by Saturday.  Are there any other significant injuries that we know about?

Re: More SC Attrition - StannyBoy - 08-28-2014

Senior RB Anthony Brown quit the team today and is calling Sarkisian a racist on social media. Sark is not off to a great start at USC. Maybe Brown is pissed he was moved from CB to RB.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Shaw become eligible for a part of our game, IF he recovers in time.  Real discipline at $C?  Unlikely!  "What we have here is a lack of institutional control."

If the reported injury was correct (high-ankle sprain) there's 0 chance he's back for our game. Recovery time from that is more like 6 weeks, and can be as long as 6 months. If that's what he has (who even knows what's going on any more), he'll be lucky to be healthy enough to play again this season, let alone week two.

If he jumped out of a third floor window, it's worse than two high ankle sprains.  I'm guessing knee issues perhaps.

Last line of this article is instructive.  Shaw knew the woman who was screaming in the apartment and they "had a relationship."

"Had a relationship" my big fat trojan horse!  LA news is reporting that LAPD read her the description of the man seen shimming down the fire-escape and shs said, sounds like my boyfriend, Josh Shaw, but he's at dinner with friends.  Of course, a woman identifying herself as his sister and mother of the poor, pathetic 7year old near drowning victim, confirmed he had saved the boy, adding that although she wasn't present the boy was in the care of another brother.  Is lying genetic?
