Extra points for anyone that can take the original "post" off topic.

While I agree running a post pattern can be effective, I have often wondered which type of wood makes the best posts.  Fence posts specifically.  Any suggestions?

Tweet?  Do I have to join Twitter to truly keep up with the Cardboard and Stanford sports now?  Dagnamit!  I was just planning on getting old and avoiding the entire twitterverse.
Hey you kids, get off my lawn!

Cheers,

I couldn't agree more.  And I know what that "test" really means.  Haughty, bigotted and racist innuendo against poor, disadvantaged non-english speaking immigrants, merely yearning to be free.  Shame on you!

Re: test - CornFed - 09-09-2014

Mission accomplished

Re: test - BostonCard - 09-09-2014

I totally ignored this until it hit two pages of replies.

Hedge (or Osage orange) but you have to drive the nails in before the wood seasons or it's like driving a nail into iron. The posts last forever, though.

Eric Test was the holder in one of the supreme moments of Stanford football happiness.  http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/The-1974-Big-Game-Last-Second-Kick-Breaks-Bears-2978731.php  It even takes away some of the pain from Saturday.
