Unless this is a highly anomalous performance, seems like we can knock UCF down a few pegs in our estimation this year.

Might be worth doing an opponent watch thread? I know *I've* valued it in previous years, not sure how other people feel.

Interesting and revealing comments about UCF in this article.

Terrible news.  This blow to our SOS may knock us down from 1 to 2 or 3 in the playoffs.  Trouble?

Yes, ferrari. We will no longer be ranked #1 because of what seems like a sure win over a weak UCF. We should have scheduled 2 FCS teams instead and then made sure we played one of those teams the week before Oregon.  :P

Re: Central Florida loses - Renaissance Man - 09-04-2015

If you watched this game, you had Fiesta Bowl flashbacks.  UCF drove efficiently down the field toward a game-winning TD, only to stop at the 20-yard line to begin running the ball to run out the clock.  Two runs for a loss and a phantom false start later, the kicker, making his first college FG attempt nearly missed the ball and FIU dumped Gatorade on the coach.
UCF's offensive line looked terrible--they have some talent at QB and receiver, but, hopefully, won't get a chance to show it next week.
