Isn't that essentially what Oregon does on every single PAT?

It's what they say they do.

However, up until this year it was mainly something they did on their first TD of each game, at least for a while. Apparently last year Oregon had zero two point conversions (cfbstats includes 2 pt conversions made, I cannot find attempted).

So far this year, one of those advanced stats guys seems to have got hold of the coaches' ear and Oregon has gone for two more often than not. They have only converted on 4 of 11 attempts.

More on the Oregon two point experiment.

Sounds like USC was already broken when we played them.

Even after umpteen years of bats3!t crazy at USC, I am still utterly amazed at the circus going on there.

Last year Oregon was 0-3 on 2-point attempts.

During Chip Kelly's reign (with Mark Helfrich as OC) Oregon was 17-23 on 2-point attempts.

The linked reddit thread (which I saw earlier) claims that this is false, but what happened is that he shoved a trainer into a wall. That reddit thread is great reading by the way, it really makes it sound like USC is imploding.

Great comment from the article:

This is USC football. 5 stars everywhere but no brains anywhere!

Good luck on finding a college where you're allowed to slug officials...

Notwithstanding Edoga's trouble with officials, immediately following his decision to transfer he found three new followers to his twitter account: Kirby Smart, Mark Richt and Tim Drevno. Georgia was his runner up coming out of high school, good chance he ends up there. Watch out, SEC officials.

I've seen it penalized before but it is a difficult and subjective call for officials.  There are lots of legitimate reasons for a defense to be barking out plays and adjustments pre snap so an official must gauge intent.  It must not have been too blatant Saturday or we WOULD have seen laundry on the field by the sixth false start call.

The idea that Stanford is mimicking snap counts is out there - I just saw an otherwise dull interview with UCLA center Sott Quessenberry where he was asked about it.

There's a lot of pre-snap trash talking going on in college football.

He got to start for 25% of the season.  I think that's enough.

It appears there's something I need to do. Funny, they displayed when I previewed the posts. I'll just paste the URL I guess. Do any admins know if it's me or the software?

It's almost certainly you. Google content (so I assume this is from picassa or something) is routinely sharing-protected. Where are the images from?
