If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

I went 24-14 Cardinal formally, but upon reflection think 26-14 (4 FGs) a better choice.
I share Hulk's view of the grit of the Duck defense, but feel our defensive coaches will be able to take advantage of the inexperienced UO QBs to keep their offense pretty much in check.
