Good to know Miezan's dad was an Olympic sprinter. Looks like a kid with great upside at ILB, though I know some here quite like the idea of him carrying the ball.
But quite interesting to read how the attention given to a sport can have an impact on one's desire to play it. If Lacrosse had 50,000+ seat stadiums, a big media footprint, and a powerful professional league, Miezan may well have stuck with Lacrosse. Also love how this story dampens the "football is dying" narrative a bit.
