I think I read that Schaefer retired from football, but I can’t recall the source

Just to check, are you saying that the fact Speights got the start is itself an interesting commentary or are you saying that somewhere (on this board?) there is a interesting commentary about the fact that Speights started?

Hey CT:
Yeah, I guess I should have been clearer. I meant to say that Speights' start was an interesting commentary on Scarlett, since the latter started against UCD. I am guessing that commentary is that they no longer see Scarlett as our second-best every-down back.

He basically carried like 9 straight times and we beat them back pretty firmly. When you say Speights hits the hole harder, I wonder if that is really so. He is quicker, but Scarlett is heavier. So Speights probably hits quicker. He also has more "home run" potential because of his quickness.
The carries are small enough you have to use them with caution. Speights hits the hole harder and runs tougher, but is not much for patience and finding a hole. I kind of liked how Scarlett looked catching passes out of the backfield last year, but both he (2 catches) and Speights (3 catches) have barely done so this season.

Dalman is fine.
Stewart passed by Wilson and St Brown.
I tink the press conference is Monday next week with the game on Thrsday so we will know more then.
