Interestingly, the scoreboard is showing our #3 doubles as Lord/Shin rather than Lord/Madurawe. 

It's one thing to make an adjustment at the bottom of your singles lineup, switching your #6 and your #7. But to adjust the composition of a doubles team at this point in the year, when Lord and Shin haven't played together in several months? I assume Madurawe tweaked something, because this isn't ideal.

But at least there is zero chance UNC knows anything about her! The element of surprise is ours! (desperate attempt to spin this favorably)

She’s up a break, too! It’s Lord, Lampl, and Choy up a break or with the first set won already. Gordon was down 0-3, but fought back to 3-3 before getting broken again. Arbuthnott is down a break, and Shin is getting crushed. 

It is truly frustrating that we can’t get more consistent performances out of Shin this season.
