Big loss for Washington State, and I think Stanford's chances
in the Pac-12 North improve sizably (since as bbm pointed out,
we have lost to Wazzu 4 times in a row; Leach's offense was
just a bad matchup for the defensive personnel we have).

In my estimation, the Pac-12 North will be a battle between
Oregon, Washington and Stanford next year, with each team
having major question marks. Perhaps it allows a team like
Cal or Oregon State to ascend, but I am not sure either team's 
recruiting has been anywhere close to the level of UO, Stanford, or
UW.

2. Wazzu is one of those schools where if you have some success you get out while the getting is good. 6-7 seasons will be more the norm than 11-2 ones.

Then again, if he is complaining about not getting the recruits to beat Washington, you wonder a bit how he plans to get the recruits to beat Alabama and LSU.
