Rumored for awhile. I was hoping with the start date just over a month away he had changed his mind.

A position where Stanford has very little experience gets even weaker.
Aside from Kelly, only 2 other CBs on the roster played last season - Manley with 2 total tackles, Butler with 1. It seems like every year is a rebuilding year nowadays.

Good move by Adebo. It would have been great to have a full season to demonstrate he has learned how to not get burnt by double moves but not at the expense of his health. This desperate attempt by the Pac-12 to have a football season is going to put a lot of players health at risk. It's going to be a clumsy year of football that is going to clearly be the worst of the power 5 conferences.

The 2018 recruiting class continues to harm this team and leave lingering ill effects. Only one OL who medically retired (we all know the situation in that room), and two very low-rated CBs from whom we have not heard a peep yet. At least both have played on STs.

Fair enough, but he’d be going through all of those testing and prevention protocols in the NFL now, too.
As smart people, Adebo and Little (like Luck and Love before them) valued the Stanford degree. While they never would have chosen it, COVID gave them a chance to earn the degree without having to play and risk injury in their final season.
Good luck to him. I can’t say I agree with him on the election, masks or vaccines. Some of his views border on flat-eartherism. But he’s always struck me as a very nice dude at heart.
