Jones. Earlier last week I pointed out that he had not shown me much. Well he has now. I guess I need to be a little more patient to say the least as he’s primarily just getting his feet wet. But he’s shown pretty good vision and some ability to make peoples miss. Nice cuts. Still don’t think he finishes runs tremendously well and I don’t know how flat out fast he is. But he’s showing a little something

I second the cheers for Jones. This last touchdown, and then that go-ahead touchdown last week against Cal. Great runs.
This is going very well.
Full disclosure: I root for Stanford, Oregon, and Notre Dame. I have degrees from all three. When they play each other I root for 1.) whichever has a chance for playoffs; or 2.) whichever is losing

So far great job by the offense. They are going to have to keep doing it.

Missed the first half, but listened on the radio. The announcers were commenting that this is the type of play that Shaw likes, dominating, and that we haven't seen that type of play in, well, years. . . .
Free Phogge!!!! And no, crimson doesn't refer to the Tide.

I still don't love the offense, but it certainly is working in rare form so far today; 14 first downs, 6-7 on 3rd, 270 yards, and of course 24 points in a half.
Great to see 21 passes and 21 rushes. But, if the pass defense was bad, I'd want to see more passes than runs. Washington usually has good pass defense, so a good plan to keep it balanced.
Maybe they should go on the road to practice every week.
Only game management mistake I saw: Let 15 seconds tick off on last second down before calling 2nd timeout. They ran two plays from 46 seconds left in half.
Curtis Robinson is looking like an NFL player now.
