I know Cooke is burning us now, but I am not liking that we are leaving Henderson open. Fortunately, she hasn't made us pay yet, but she is their best 3-point shooter.
This is the kind of opponent where we need our playmakers to create their own shot near the buzzer because SC is not going to give us good looks.

If you define "a bad game" as being one rebound away from a double double halfway through the third quarter. She's not shooting well, but she's been active in the game in every other way: 9 rebounds (4 offensive), 3 assists.

I should add that she's played much better in the second half. Stanford has slightly altered the offense, playing Lexie on the horn with a cleared out baseline has allowed her to take her defender off the dribble easier; keeping the ball and not passing as much. That suits her game.

Better going into the fourth quarter with a three-point lead than a three-point deficit, but really wish we had played a bit better defense there. On the plus side, both Boston and Amihere have three fouls, while on our side, only Lacie has three fouls.

Each team has a player the other cannot stop. We cannot contain Cooke right now, SC is getting her free and she's taking advantage every time. She has 23 points, including 5/7 from long range.
On the other side, Haley is keeping us in this game with 20 points on 9/11 shooting herself and 2/2 from long range. This is what I've been waiting for. She's obviously had a good year, but I've been waiting for her to dominate a game with her scoring against a quality opponent. While she put up big scoring numbers early on, UW is not SC and an early season game is not the Final Four.
Boston picked up her third foul right before the quarter ended; if we can somehow draw another foul on her, then that would swing the favor to us immensely.
