I put both hands on the ball, gripped it, picked it up, moved it upwards about 24 inches, and then had it knocked out of my hands. Did I fumble?

Third and one and Shaw calls a timeout. You can only do that if you can stop them and they can’t, they just can’t.

Not sure why Shaw stopped the clock on third and one. The likelihood of Washington converting was high and now UW has all three time outs.

We should have kept him upright for two more seconds. Ugh.
That was bad clock management by Shaw. Twice he called time out, and Washington would have been happy to take the ball to halftime. I get being aggressive, but it would help to be able to stop Uw.

The Stanford DL is Swiss cheese and this isn’t Michigan State running the ball. Stanford may win this game but I don’t see a winnable game in November.
