Im think it will be his last game. Had a long talk with a good friend who you know of and his main point was Stanford can get top players. That has been proven including one and ones. Makes the job a bit more attractive that one might think

If nothing else, ASU will no longer have the Curtain of Distraction at their disposal, so they'll need to find another way to make us miss free throws...

For anyone who is interested in probabilities, ESPN's BPI gives Stanford a 40.5% chance of defeating the Sun Devils. The last point spread that I saw was ASU -3.5. Ken Pomeroy gives #9 Stanford a 43.8% chance of defeating the #8 Sun Devils, a 3.5% chance of then defeating #1 Arizona, a 1.4% of winning the semifinal game and a 0.3% chance of earning the Pac-12's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Here are the Pac-12 conference tournament results so far for Coach Haase:
2017: #9, lost in the first round vs #8 ASU
2018: #5, won in the first round vs #12 Cal; Lost in the quarterfinals vs #4 UCLA
2019: #10, lost in the first round vs #7 UCLA
2020: #7, lost in the first round vs #10 Cal
2021: #6, lost in the first round vs #11 Cal
So other than the unsightly 1-5 record, it's worth noting that Stanford has never defeated a better-seeded team under Haase. They'll get one more chance on Wednesday.

See a birth announcement and say, "What an ugly kid that's going to be. The parents should be ashamed of themselves for having a baby"?
Frankly, I'm really tired of such negativism. I hope the players on these teams never hear of The CardBoard so they never wander here and see this stuff.

FWIW, it is not as if OSU was on a roll going into the Pac-12 tournament last year. They were 6-7 going into the tourney, with two of those wins by only 2 points. They looked like a team that was struggling to pay .500 ball in the conference.

The difference is OSU had a fantastic senior talent, Ethan Thompson, who could put the entire team on his back and average 16/6/4 in 35 minutes a game throughout the tournaments. We do not have an Ethan Thompson.
By the way, Wayne Tinkle committed highway robbery by signing an extension right after that. OSU is right back to being horrible again. (They were our only W in the last 8 games, on the road. That's how bad they are.)

I vomited in my mouth a little when I saw Murrell in the starting lineup. Wonder if Haase just wants to get fired and collect a paycheck.
Story of the game so far is obviously ASU's 3s. But Ingram with zero points in 17.5 minutes. He has fallen off a cliff offensively.

Frustrating half as ASU is hot from beyond the arc when they've suxed all year long. Equally frustrating to see Delaire hesitate beneath the basket when he was all alone. He then misses the layup and Keefe gets the foul.
