Agree with you Terry. I don't think Troy Walters is a credible candidate either. Among others on that list, Hamilton would be bad and Mendenhall would be uninspiring. If the selection comes from the rest of the list I'll be pleased.
In my perfect world we back up the Brinks truck for Aranda. But I think it's much more likely we get Taylor and that would be exciting too.

Always surprising to me that Stanford fans remember Denny Green as a winner at Stanford. 16-18 at Stanford. His first two years combined for the same number of wins as the last two years of Elway, and then he had one good year from which he immediately bolted AND left his successor (Walsh II) with, yes, a good roster for the immediate first year but a horrid pipeline/recruiting situation otherwise. Denny Green was not a particularly good coach at Stanford. But the vibes/swagger and 1991-1992 seasons were so good Green always gets remembered fondly. I am as big of a Willingham hater as anybody, but he was a better coach for Stanford than Green was.
