Now that USC and UCLA are leaving, it might actually be reasonable for the studios to be in the LA area. I have to believe most of the coaches and ADs will continue to visit that area often for corporate promotions, alumni relations and athlete recruiting.

The Pac 12 offices once were in Walnut Creek before Larry wanted to upgrade the address and moved the offices to San Francisco. A quick pat on my own back, I ran into Larry at the Alamo Safeway a week ago. Took all of my restraint to keep from popping off, but he was with his daughter.
Anyway, rent is much cheaper in San Ramon, and the City is a ghost town.
Free Phogge!!!! And no, crimson doesn't refer to the Tide.

It's more about the size of commercial properties available in Bishop Ranch. It's always been a tempting option for SF based companies looking for a deal without leaving the area.

Pac-12 should move to Vegas or Phoenix. Much less expensive than any Bay Area or LA option

I was born in North Beach and grew up in the Sunset. I had to vector through The City on Saturday night because on my return from Santa Clara KCBS reported that the GGB was going to close because of a jackknifed big rig. Geary from Divis to Gough is now two lanes and Folsom has a taxi only lane. That along with the running of red lights and stop signs in the neighborhoods and the mass of homeless wanderers has made SF a nightmare. No wonder the Pac is leaving.

Hopefully it gets resolved. Not sure what rule his post even violated. He adds a lot to this board, imho.
