Fudd played on Jan 11 (20 min) and Jan 15 (12 min), but not on Jan 17, where only 7 players are in the box score.
Hmm... The game on Jan. 17 was rescheduled from Jan. 19, but I don't see the reason.
The postponed Jan. 8 game is scheduled for Jan 23.
Also, if you are interested....

Ducharme has a history of “head injuries”. She seemed to have a stiff neck before the concussion since the beginning of the season.
Edwards was questionable for the game they postponed and the Big East allows teams to postpone games due to having less than 7 players available without restricting it to be Covid related.
Geno said today Ducharme and Fudd are out for tomorrow. Patterson is a game time decision.
Sounds like Fudd does not need surgery, but needs to stay off the knee for at least two weeks.

What makes one think she's good enough that next year's top recruit isn't going to bump her from her spot.
We’ll have to see. Maybe have her practice and if they only have 7 or 8 healthy bodies in mid Feb have her play?

When looked at from the school's (coach's) perspective, when up against it, why not bring someone in early that might help you this year. It isn't as if the school has to give her a scholarship for 4 years. Probably one could also point out to her, "Hey kid, you're going to warm the bench next year. Maybe you should transfer?" and avoid the unpleasantness of dropping her scholarship even if she is still a student and wants to play.
Isn't that what the pro football teams do, hire someone for a few games while.someone else is injured?

LSU's undefeated season so far has earned them 4th in the current poll, but they haven't played any current-top 25 teams. Plus, South Carolina is the only top-25 team on their remaining schedule (though if Tennessee can beat UConn and/or LSU this week they should end up back in the top 25 again).
UConn's streak of (home) wins vs Texas, NC State, Duke and Iowa looked a lot more impressive earlier in the season. But they could end up with zero top 15 wins if Iowa doesn't fare well against Ohio State, Indiana and Maryland in their upcoming games. There's even an outside chance UConn could end up with no wins over any top 25 teams in the final AP regular season poll, but we'll see.
AP Rank Team (Top 25 teams defeated)
1 South Carolina (3,8,10)
2 Ohio State (13, 22)
3 Stanford (8,9,17,19,25)
4 LSU (none)
5 UConn (10,16,20,24)
6 Indiana (10,15,22 twice)
7 Notre Dame (5,12)
8 UCLA (none)
9 Utah (14,25)
T-10 Iowa (13,18)
T-10 Maryland (5,7)
