Hoping at the very least, the seeds hold and Stanford, Utah and UCLA advance to the round of 16. Would be great if Colorado or Arizona could pull off the upset, I'm sure they will give their opponents a fight.

That's my main motivation here, and yes, I find it difficult to be for UCLA and Colorado in particular. As for Arizona, I have wondered what's going on there with the transfers, made me have doubts about Barnes.
Creme has now reseeded the tournament. He now has Stanford as the #2 #1, moved UConn up to the #3 #1. He's reseeded Virginia Tech to the second #2 behind Iowa. As for Ole Miss, he now regards them as a #6.

The SEC has outshown all other conferences by far and was clearly underseeded in the tournament. Not only 7 wins, but 2 upsets (an 11 seed and a 10 seed). (Let's hope they are done with the upsets!) Their only loss was 10-seed Alabama's 4 point loss to Baylor. I don't understand why the committee gave the 4th best team in the SEC (Ole Miss) an 8-seed, but hopefully we'll still take care of business today. Today's game vs Ole Miss is more like a Sweet 16 matchup, but with home court advantage.

What the heck is up with this? Sure, speculating for 11 months as to what the seeding committee will decide is fun, but what is the point of this crazy reseeding? If Creme is bored, there are loads of games to watch, or, heck, he can come clean my house since little gets done during this weekend.

Watching Iowa-Georgia. So far, the only impressive part of Iowa's game is their accurate 3-point shooting. They are outstanding at that. Otherwise, they have had trouble pounding it inside, they turn it over frequently, and they are average defenders.
They also don't seem to have that much height besides their 6'3" center. They like to run but don't seem to have a jet-quick player that typically burns us. Georgia is outhustling them, and the game is up in the air.
Clark is an awesome player, but Georgia is keeping her in check so far (41-40 Iowa halftime lead). She has Carry Jacobsen range taking very, very long three pointers, making 1 of 2 so far. Clark is a complainer, arguing every call against her with the refs.
Overall, I'm feeling better if we meet up with them down the road.

I remain with the sense that the main thing to fear about Iowa is their terrific three point shooting. Everything else seems in the norm of good teams. Iowa does seem to have many careless turnovers. Not sure if it was the Georgia defense or an usual Iowa game.

Three straight turnovers surely saps one's enthusiasm, but the two flagrant (Is that the right designation?) fouls by GA were completely unacceptable. We can only meet Maryland if we make the final four and some team (presumably Maryland has beaten South Carolina). I would take that.

Aside from being a tough matchup for Stanford, Ole Miss is just a good team. I'm baffled why the Committee gave them an 8 seed. Ole Miss was the 4th place team in the SEC (which is 10-3 in the tournament so far), lost by only 2 to Utah, and took South Carolina to overtime. Aside from being a tough matchup for Stanford, Ole Miss is just a good team. I'm baffled why the Committee gave them an 8 seed. Ole Miss was the 4th place team in the SEC (which is 10-3 in the tournament so far), lost by only 2 to Utah, and took South Carolina to overtime. Of the 16 favorites in round 2, Stanford had the 4th toughest matchup per the net ranking:
