I think they may have made a mistake selecting Moody in the 3rd Round.  SF needs more depth on the offensive line.  I think an OT might have been a better choice. 

As Lex noted, early round PK’s are a rare breed.  There haven’t been any that panned out since Janikowski was picked by the Raiders in Round 1 in 2000.

As for Karty?  I predict Round 4 or 5.

He was also suspended over a "disagreement" about when he could return to the team. He had just signed an extension (7 months ago) that made him the highest paid punter in the NFL. No idea how much of that is guaranteed. Patriots drafted a punter in this draft.
