Probably an original National League MLB team, as I think that's the oldest league in the major sports.
I know that some original NL teams have changed nicknames -- Dodgers, Cubs, Braves, Cardinals, Reds.
If you're talking only about the nickname, then I'll guess it's the Giants. If you're talking about the full name (including the city), then I'll guess it's the Pittsburgh Pirates.
