Here's the status of Giant midseason acquisitions. Overall, I think the Giants did very, very well:
Tyler Rogers
Rogers has 1.93 ERA for the Mets, but his WHIP has ballooned to 1.50 from 0.860.
Jose Butto is not a volume reliever. Terrific if he has a full day of rest. Can't pitch two games in a row.
SF Giants are learning the Jose Butto limitation the NY Mets already knew
Blade Tidwell is having a great season, particularly now that he is leaning on his sinker and reducing his reliance on the four-seam fastball. And his walk rate is way down.
New SF Giants pitching prospect excelling with change in pitch mix since trade
Jordan Hicks/Rafael Devers
Hicks has struggled since joining the Red Sox. 6.23 ERA, 1.7 WHIP,
Red Sox fans already fuming about one piece of Rafael Devers trade with SF Giants
Harrison has played only in Worcester, the Red Sox AAA team. He's 3-2, 3.48 ERA, but a 1.6 WHIP and walks have ballooned to 5.2 per nine innings. Not good.
Bello is doing well, he's just 20. 3.14 ERA in rookie ball.
Tibbs (drafted by Farhan) was hitting .207 at Red Sox AA team, traded to Dodgers, playing for Tulsa in their AA team, hitting .319, 13 walks, 11 strikeouts, .952 OPS.

Devers OPS with Giants is second worst of his career at .751, still, he's been picking it up the last 28 days at .861 OPS.
Camilo Doval
Doval is tanking. 6.03 ERA with Yankees, no saves, six walks in seven innings. He was traded for four prospects:
- Trystan Vreiling, has a 3.38 ERA (down from 4.58 with NYY Eastern League affiliate) for Richmond. Three starts, no decisions, but a sparkling 0.938 WHIP. He's 24, was the Yanks #19 prospect.
- C Jesus Rodriguez is 23, batting .250 in Sacto (was .317 for NYY AAA team), 7 K's, 5 walks; he's thrown out 16 of 45 base stealers this year.
- 1B/3B Parks Harber is 23, batting .262 in Eugene, two doubles and an HR in six hits so far, .930 OPS. 7 K's, 7 walks.
- LHP Carlos de la Rosa, 1.53 WHIP in rookie ball, but he's only 17 and has 44 K's in 28 2/3 innings.
Mike Yastrzemski
Yaz is hitting just .190, but has four doubles and three home runs in his eight hits for the Royals, .808 OPS... .13 higher than with the Giants. six RBIs and nine runs scored in 52 plate appearances. Yaz doing well in RF with the Royals, 2 assists so far. He still leads NL outfielders with nine assists.
Giants received Yunior Marte, 21 year old RHP, has a 1.02 WHIP and 2.72 ERA in San Jose, 86 K's in 89 innings as a starter. He's 6'5", so his development is coming along.
