"Also, why are there restrictive course limits set on the women’s basketball players? Why are the players given low food stipends for lunch? Please John Donahoe, please fix this. None of this is on the players."
And later had to retract it in its entirety?
Is this source trustworthy?

You can read some stuff here and he’s been right about some stuff regarding the transfer portal.

Hard for me to believe, but I have been surprised before.
In my mind, Tempie would be the assistant most capable of taking over for a year. Not sure she would want that, though. I get the impression that we had to woo her back from private life to get her to come back for her second stint.
I have zero insights as to what's going on with your once-super elite WBB program, but I am quite amazed at the lack of any formal/public communication coming from Mr. Donahoe's office since your Banquet was cancelled. There seems to be extreme caution and lack of urgency in coming to conclusions about what has happened (multiple players leaving, allegations, etc.) making decisive decisions and taking action.
Compare this lack of urgency with the decisive speed Virginia A.D. Carla Williams and her leadership team had in dealing with their own player allegations, firing Coach 'Mox' (as she is known), forming a search committee and hiring Aaron Roussell from Richmond. I have strong ties to UVA, going all the way back to the Debbie Ryan era and Ie had an inkling of the problems before traveling to the Sacramento Regionals this past March to cheer the team on.
Roussell is now in place to recruit players in the portal, stabilize the team and help prepare them for his style of winning basketball. He did exceptionally well at Richmond. As for Stanford, it seems to me that the longer the silence goes, the more likely Kate Paye stays; a coach that I think everyone on this Board believes is not the person Stanford needs to turn the program around.
At a time when changes are needed now, why the caution? why the lack of urgency?
