Thomas Keiser and Terrence Brown both stayed at Stanford for four years and both got their degrees. I was a little surprised that they didn't return for fifth years, but they didn't really leave early. Hoffpauir is leaving early, after three years, most likely without a degree. I hope he comes back and graduates, as some other three-year departures have done -- Whitfield, Harris, Hutchinson, Borchard, Gaffney, etc.
