Apparently we are leading for two highly touted DB's for the class of 2017.  Unfortunately, more details are behind a paywall.

Gerry Hamilton reports that Stanford currently leads in the sweepstakes for 2017 stars Darnay Holmes and Jeffrey Okudah, and the laundry list of programs that they're currently outpacing is impressive: It includes Florida State, Ohio State, UCLA, Tennessee, Baylor and TCU. Maybe it's a "Richard Sherman effect," or perhaps the combination of David Shaw and secondary coach Duane Akina presents magnetic appeal. Either way, this much is certain: After signing eight touted defensive backs over the past two cycles, the Cardinal don't appear to be slowing down. As a program, they're amassing talent at the position more rapidly than ever.
