Miles would be a great hire for Maryland.

The greater question is who is LSU going to get to replace Miles?  Who is more accomplished than him?

I sure hope he doesn't get hired at Maryland.  I'm sure Miles will be expensive, and I just don't see him bringing in enough more revenue to justify the cost.  The market for college football in this area is too weak.  And the athletic department already loses way too much money.

UnderArmour can cover up a lot of athletics department shortcomings.  They have a stated goal to do to Maryland what Nike did to Oregon.

I thought they just meant the ugly uniforms.  That's all they've done so far.  :P

More seriously, if Under Armour is going to cover the cost, great.  But I'll believe that when I see it.  And the school really can't afford to keep covering the athletic department's losses.
