Surfer Joe is fun, and has a fun story. The band was invited to record Surfari, their first time in a studio. Did it, then the producer said something like, "ok great, now let's do the flip."
"Flip"
"Yeah, you know, gotta have something on the 45 flip side."
That had no second number, so they sat down, worked out Surfer Joe, and that was that.
