Mac will have a better year next year.  He's going to develop more lower body power and explosiveness, which will get move his yards per carry average up half a yard.  We haven't his best because he's only 20--twenty--and five years from his athletic peak.

He is very likely to be remembered as the greatest running back in college football history--a Reggie Bush with better vision and more power.

I have zero doubt he is going to be better next year.  And, barring injury, the year after that.  Although financially it may not make sense I predict he pulls a Luck and doesn't leave until he has his degree.  Two more years of this and better?  Scary.  The road will be steeper for all the reasons mentioned already, but his ability and resolve will be even greater.

One question I have is how Love affect McCaffrey numbers. It is a quality problem, but Love has to get a lot more touches next year. Some of those will come from CMac. OTOH, his yards per touch might go up as a result.

You're right.  Damn problem.  WildCaff may have to settle for a National Championship Ring instead of a Voldemort Trophy.  Pity.
